Built to Scale and Structured to Support Biohealth,
Medtech, Precision Medicine, and R&D

“There is more collaboration, Cincinnati is rich in science talent–people who can create innovative products and companies—which Mason’s civic leadership turned into an asset in economic development.”

– Inc. Magazine

Through 20+ years of intentional strategy, the City of Mason has built a nationally recognized hub for life science innovation and established the community as a strategic partner and catalyst for life science advancement.

In 2025, the Ohio Life Science Association designated Mason as an inaugural Premier Life Science Ready Community – the highest level – recognizing its infrastructure, shovel-ready, City-owned real estate, educated workforce, and pro-innovation policy environment.

Mason sits strategically along the Ohio Discovery Corridor — connecting Ohio’s network of world class medical and research institutions and companies.

In 2025, the Ohio Life Sciences Association (OLSA) designated the City of Mason as a Life Science Ready Community at the highest level – Premier – based on its infrastructure readiness, “shovel-ready” real estate, access to an educated workforce and policy environment. The designation program is part of an overall strategy by OLSA to strengthen Ohio’s position as a national leader in the life sciences industry.
